Designed by artist and illustrator Kurt Pfeiffer
Pfeiffer attended Rochester Institute of Technology, spending his junior year abroad studying drawing, painting, and printmaking at the Ruskin School of Drawing in Oxford, England. He also attended the University of Southern California School of Cinema-Television. The colors in the poster are bright and tropical, with the iciest blue reserved for this cool summer treat. About the poster, Pfeiffer says, “When I think of summer, I think of watermelon AND the Park Ave Summer Art Fest!”
