Starship featuring Mickey Thomas

Starship, propelled by the soaring vocals of singer Mickey Thomas, led the band to a string of number 1 hits in the 80’s including “We Built this City,” “Sarah,” and “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now.” Thomas formerly recorded hits with Jefferson Starship (“Jane”) and the Elvin Bishop Band (“Fooled Around and Fell in Love”) and the band performs these along with Jefferson Airplane hits “White Rabbit” and “Somebody to Love” as a nod to the band’s beginnings. Starship’s music is featured in the soundtracks for “Rock of Ages,” “Guardians of the Galaxy,” “Skeleton Twins,” the TV series “Glee”. Starship was a featured performer on iHeart Radio’s 80’s Party. This show was televised with 13,000 attendees & 642 million social media impressions.
