ABOUT THE PERFORMER
Duke Jupiter is a rock ‘n’ roll band from Rochester, NY that recorded seven albums over the course of a 13 year career from 1973 to 1986. Duke’s local popularity was huge by June of ’82, when a record throng jammed Ontario Beach Park, causing what may have been the greatest traffic jam in the city of Rochester’s history. After 13 years of touring, and worn down by the music business—Duke played a farewell concert in Rochester in 1986. Due to continuous popular demand throughout the years, they’ve had some memorable reunions.
