CONSTRUCTION
Rochester Events has been working closely with the City of Rochester regarding the 2023 Lilac Festival and the road construction on South Avenue and neighboring streets. The City will clean up any work being done on South Avenue for the duration of the festival, and construction activity will be minimized to lessen the impact on this exciting event!
We acknowledge congestion and traffic delays are likely. Therefore, we encourage festival visitors to utilize the available shuttle service at a variety of parking locations during the event.
BUS & MOTOR COACH PARKING
Motor coaches and other group tour vehicles must stop at the bus and motor coach check-in booth at the corner of Highland and South Avenues before discharging their passengers. Bus drivers will be directed to a drop off point close to the PURPLE CROSS WALK on Highland. Once passengers have been discharged, vehicles will be directed to free parking at 1201 Elmwood Ave.
PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
People with disabilities who have a wheelchair hang tag should use Public Parking Lot 2 and enter from
South Avenue.
