Visitors can arrive at the art shows with a two-minute walk from the main festival site down South Avenue or on the paths through the lilacs- just follow the signs pointing the way!
Art in the Park is a juried show which features the original work of artists from around the country with jewelry, clothing, ceramics, paintings, soaps, woodwork and much, much more.

Saturday & Sunday: May 13-14, May 20-21
Saturday: 10am-6pm
Sunday: 10am-5pm
Only those who are the hands-on makers of their work may participate in Art in the Park. If you are an artist, craftsperson or specialty vendor who would like to be considered for participation, please check back in early November to apply. NO BUY/SELL is permitted.
A native Rochesterian, Diane Elmslie is a fine artist and portrait painter currently teaching classes and accepting commissions through her home studio in Wheatland NY. Diane studied fine art at Rochester Institute of Technology and received a B.F.A. in 1971. She pursued a graphic arts career for 35 years and continued after retiring in 2004 to teach watercolor classes and commissioned work in her downtown studios for 10 years. Diane is a member of Rochester Art Club and is active with displaying her works through various shows and galleries in the region.
